2010 Fall Festival is on Saturday Sept. 26 @ Higley HS
Clinicians: Jeff Ausdemore and Dan Darrah

We are going to try the two clinician/mini staff idea this year to see how it works. Both clinicians will adjudicate every participating ensemble, and if possible, they will present two separate clinics - one with a battery focus and one with a front ensemble focus.

Find out about Jeff Ausdemore here:

http://www.promark.com/community/profile/617/

Dan Darrah is currently the front ensemble instructor for the Blue Knights. His web presence is not as strong as Ausdemore's, but here's what I can find:

Dan Darrah received his Bachelors of Music degree in percussion performance at the University of Montana studying with Dr. Robert Ledbetter. While there he received numerous awards including winning that schools young artist concerto/aria competition and placing 3rd in the Missoula Symphony's Young Artist Concerto Competition.

Daniel went on to study percussion at the University of North Texas where he received his Masters degree in music performance studying under Mark Ford and Christopher Deane. Dan is currently working on his Doctoral degree in percussion at the University of North Texas. Daniel is a member of UNT's prestigious Wind Symphony and performs regularly with the Baroque Orchestra.

Daniel has been involved with drum corps since 1999 when he first marched with the Troopers from Casper Wyoming. After his age-out year in 2001, he taught the front ensemble of the Troopers from 2002-2004. Dan is also in his 3rd year of teaching the front ensemble for Colleyville Heritage High School.

On here you've got Saturday September 26th listed as the date, but the 26th is a Sunday. On the azpas calender it says the festival is Saturday September 25th. Could you clarify this?

Thanks Wes!!
